The M.Des. in Graphic Design is a two-year postgraduate course offered in Indian design universities that teaches students complex principles of visual communication from contemporary design, western graphics, to Indian artistry as graphics. A 2-year specialized program exists to teach individuals advanced creative abilities and design principles which prepares them for leadership positions within the evolving world of graphic design.
Who Can Apply?
The admission requirements include an undergraduate degree from Design or Fine Arts or Architecture backgrounds with at least 50% marks. The educational criteria set by different institutions may vary and some may also accept engineering graduates and various other students from different streams. To get admissions, one needs to begin with entrance examinations such as AIDAT, CEED, NID or specific tests of each institution before conducting portfolio assessments and interview sessions.
